What is Wikibon?

There's lots of information about what technologies are and how they work. Wikibon takes research further to provide information about how to analyze, design and deploy technology. Wikibon is different from other sources of expertise and advice because Wikibon is created by a worldwide community of professionals where anyone can contribute.

Who needs Wikibon?

  1. People who need to learn about technology and business.
  2. Readers who want a consistent, reliable source of metrics and rules-of-thumb.
  3. People who want to share their expertise to build an audience, improve their work and help others.

Gurus beware!

How many so-called experts make you think "I can do better than that?"

Wikibon began as an idea to create great how-to advice, written by millions of people around the world with real experience. We started this project because we felt the guru business was due for a change.

Are you willing to be part of a community, sharing your ideas so that your peers can have access to a free source of information on how to get work done? Our belief is that by receiving, people will be willing to give back and share their knowledge with others - pay it forward so to speak to help each other succeed.

We'd like Wikibon to be a place where it's easy to browse and find relevant information about business systems and IT, with an emphasis on doing. Please tell us what you'd like to see from this community? The first portal being developed is storage best practices. What other portals would you like to see both within IT and business in general? Email us with your ideas.

We're on a mission to change the way businesses do good work! We welcome you to Join Us. It's easy and it's FREE!
