The Wikibon community has initiated several research efforts related to energy efficiency. Storage in particular accounts for between 10-30% of the energy consumed in the data center, and while it's not the biggest culprit, storage is a major contributor to the energy consumption challenges facing organizations. Please browse the research below and the related categories. As always, feel free to hit the 'edit' tab and improve the research or hit the 'comment' tab and and share your opinions with peers.
